Among the perks airline companies’ offer to their passengers for long haul flight is a comfortable ride before, after and especially during flight. A long haul flight that will last more than 12 hours can be very uncomfortable without several added perks.

Many companies have tried to bring comfort to long haul flights however only a few have stood out.

Thai Air – Flat Beds for Long Haul Flights

It can be challenging for an airline to give their customers enough comfort and space to sleep during a long haul flight. However Thai Air has found a way to give their customers full flat beds during flight. The beds allow travelers to truly have a comfortable sleep during their journey.

Singapore Air – Better Chairs

Singapore Air may not provide full bed for their long haul travelers but they have improved their seating for a comfortable recline. Complementing this feature is the improved entertainment feature. Enjoy some music and videos while on flight in a relaxing position.

South African Airways – Soft Seating

International flights in South African Airways are just like any other long haul flights, where you can enjoy different types of entertainment and comfortable seating position. But South African Airways is known for their soft and comfortable chairs which practically lull their passengers to sleep.

One of the interesting aspects of premium flights in the world today is that the word premium can be applied to a number of different areas in which airlines can revamp their service so that it is better for a particular niche of traveller that they are trying to reach. For this reason, many people have started clamouring for a particular type of premium flight. This flight would have no children on board and while it may seem discriminatory at first, you might find that the interest in taking such a flight would be very high indeed.

All you have to do is listen to the average stand up comedian or take a look at some of the most successful business executives in the world today to see that almost everyone has a bad experience about travelling with a child. Children and flights tend not to mix and while there are many children that have the serenity to be calm and quiet during a flight, the truth of the matter is that there are also many children that really have nothing when it comes to understanding that there are other people on the flight that are getting irritated by their antics. For this reason, a childless flight would be a type of premium flight that would appeal to anyone that had a story about a child that irritated them during a flight.

If just a small percentage of these people were willing to pay more money for a flight of this type, the end result would be a profitable one for the airline. And anyone that has had child problems on a flight knows that the number of people that would pay more for a premium flight without children on board is much more than just a small percentage of people that have had those experiences.
