Great holiday dishes from British Airways
Just because some flights are not serving food anymore, does not mean that all of them would do that. In fact, British Airways is looking to get a little bit more “festive” this holiday season. In fact, this UK flagship carrier is looking to serve well over 38,000 Christmas dinners this season. This includes dishes that range from the traditional to seasonal and more. It gives premium flights just that little bit of something extra this holiday season.
Some of the things that you can look forward to, if you are flying premium, is a great traditional turkey dinner. This comes complete with not only trimmings, but a great rich chocolate log. Not only that, but each meal also comes with an amazing handmade Christmas cake.
This is British Airways’ way of giving back to their customers who have flown with them all year around. They also feel that it’s a great way to give something back to the people who are still working this holiday season and do not get any time off.
The Christmas cakes are what most people are blown away by. These cakes are made from a great recipe that was stared back in the 1930’s and has remained unchanged since then. In fact, the cake recipe comes from an Ogmore Vale Bakery that is located in South Wales. It is a great fruit mixture that has nuts and spices in it. The cake itself is topped off with a great icing, as well as marzipan. This just shows why British Airways is the flagship carrier of the UK.
