Budget price war on the way
When it comes to budget airlines in Europe, two of the best known companies are easyJet and Ryanair. These companies have always been known for their low prices and great service. However, with the big financial crash that has swept its way across many countries and many airlines, these “budget” airlines are having to come up with new ways to draw in customers. As we all know, there is no better way to make a statement than to cut your prices!
For easyJet, they have chosen to cut the prices of their flights, including their premium fights, by up to 25%. This is an amazing deal on already low prices. Not only that, but easyJet has found a way to get their car hire partner involved as well. Europcar has agreed to offer free a upgrade on your car if you book between certain dates. This upgrade will get you out of an economy rental and into a compact hire for no extra cost.
Of course, easyJet is not the only one company that can make great deals. Ryanair, easyJet’s big rival, is also putting on a big sale at the same time. This is known as their 1 million seat sale. Pretty much, Ryanair has put sales on 1 million different seats on over 300 routes. This is Ryanair’s way of being able to keep up with the sales that easyJet is putting out.
Only time will tell which business plan works better, but one thing is for sure, all premium service fliers have some great savings to look forward too! So, what company will you choose?
