Long haul premium flights unveiled by Air France

Travellers who fly with Air France will be happy to hear that the carrier has unveiled its new long haul premium economy cabin. This will be called Premium Voyageur. These seats are first going to be seen on flights to New York, Paris, and Tokyo.

These new seats are going to have an extra 19 inches for width. On top of that, the seats will be able to recline up to 123 degrees. The premium economy seats will be offering an extra 40% of space than most airlines’ economy seats. The seat pitch, or the distance between the seat backs will be 38 inches. This is the same distance that you can see on the British Airways World Traveller Plus. All seats also come with a 10.4 inch wide video screen.

Seats also come with a great meal service that offers aperitifs and champagne. All passengers will have the choice of two hot dishes. Passengers in these seats will also have the choice to get ice cream as well. Other services will be offered to the passengers that are flying in these new Premium Voyageur seats that are not offered to other people. A more updated list is available on the Air France website.

All of these passengers will also get dedicated check in. They will also be a 30kg baggage allowance. These great Premium Voyageur seats will be seen on other long haul planes later on. Air France will be waiting to see how these flights do before they add any other long haul premium seats to their flights.
